The calm before the storm.
The day Hurricane Irene was scheduled to bring the fury raining down upon us it started it was beautiful out. Then it started to drizzle.
This is one of my absolute favorite shots. I walked into the lobby of our condo and past the huge windows covered in drops. I love rain drops. I love storms.
We were very fortunate with Hurricane Irene. We were not hit hard new only lost power for about 8 hours. I am thankful that’s all we got from it. There are still people entering their 7th day without power.
Always be thankful for what you have.
